Two thumbs up for Surfers Paradise on The Gold Coast. We also checked out Burleigh Heads, a nearby and more secluded beach with a lot of homeless people, but we decided it got too windy to go in.
On the job front, I have a trial as a Market Research Surveyor on Saturday morning. I also have a trial as a cocktail waitress this weekend at "Twelve" at The Melbourne Hotel in West End. Australians-- they love their trials. I suppose it's an excuse for them to pay people less in case they quit right away. My only concern about the job at The Melbourne Hotel is how I'm going to get home late at night, since buses don't run as often then. Plus, I'd have to give up weekends...
